There was a swarm of busy bees inside Metropolitan Home's new Modern by Design show house today, as final preparations are underway for the big opening this week. We had the pleasure to step inside the bustling Pacific Heights home for a sneak peek of the freshly designed space...
The living room (above) designed by David Oldroyd and Greg Stewart of ODADA is one of the first rooms you see upon entering the house, and the undulating glossy white floor/furnishings installation is truly a sight to behold. We also fell in love with the sexy library designed by Nicole Hollis, and the Master Suite by Gary Hutton, both of which we'll show you this week. The home opens this Saturday and tickets are $25 with proceeds benefiting the San Francisco Ballet. For more information, click here.

White Enamel Four-P...
If you had kids the table would have the pyramid on the cylinder on the hexagon with the cone rolling around. =)
i love the coffee table. does someone know where i can find it?
The table looks like it's part of the floor, just like the chairs and day bed. Neat idea, but I'd never want it for myself.
OjitosLindos and cedric,
the coffee table is indeed part of the floor, along with the bench and side chairs. it is an installation created for the room by the design team.

Perhaps in a 1950's MOMA Sculpture Garden / 1960's Verner Panton sort of way...
