We're beginning to think about gardening this summer and bemoaning the fact that our backyard is actually a "concrete jungle" best suited for container gardening which we've never felt very inspired by. Until now! Would you look at this incredible miniature garden??

We can't tell you much about it unfortunately - posted on Flickr, apparently by a neighbor, it's the handiwork of someone named John Millman. We recognize many of the natural components and the photographer has done her best to identify as many as she can: moss from the side of our building, echeveria (a type of succulent), hens&chicks, weeping rosemary, creeping thyme, a bonsai tree, a small mundo grass, kingsville boxwood, several more plants I cannot remember the names right now, black fine sand, rocks and little bamboo sticks. (See the photo on Danielle Osfalg's Flickr page where she's tagged as many of the plants as she could.)

Kids are drawn to anything miniature and so are we. This has really got the gears of our imagination turning!
