With Earth Day come and gone we realize that one of the nicest things we do for the environment is our budget friendly addiction to vintage furniture.
When we ran across this picture from Marie Clair Maison we were inspired (again) by the thrift store aesthetic that we have come to feel so at home in. This image shows how modern vintage can look (and eco-friendly!).
By painting a set of normally nondescript chairs different colors and placing them around a table in a contrasting style (along with a couple of other chairs), the look of this restaurant turned design office took on just the right amount of comfy meets chic. We also love the red frame painted on the back wall--another simple detail that makes the wall standout without shouting).
