We featured a Before & After project from Britt (of the crafty blog Cucumbersome) last week, but when she sent us this look at her recent toile pillow project, we just had to share again...
Britt took a cue from Canadian designer Arren Williams and colored in parts of her Toile de Jouy pillow using a handful of standard highlighter pens. The look kind of turns standard toile on its head, no? See more on the project at Britt's blog, Cucumbersome.

I'm such a purist when it comes to toile, but this is fun.
Highlighters, very cool
very very cool. So are the highlights non-washable? so it does stay true to color even when washed. Pretty smart. I wish I had thought of that :-)
So cute! I think they do fabric pens, too, which would be color safe.
This boring toile trend really needs to die.
