D.I.Y. projects are a personal and rewarding way to create a focal point in your home. My favorite – wall art. This is an easy, fun and affordable way to create or design for your home. Check out this striking piece of wall art spied at the elegantly cool modern décor store, Weego Home in Venice, CA.

The painted molding, use of wallpaper and mirror placement really creates definition while adding texture and dimension to the wall. You can easily customize this look to work in your space!

You can always count on Asher to create great design. Weego Home is the bomb.
i love it!
Awesome.
Cool idea, but not here!
The painted molding gets lost on top of the busy wallpaper.
The wallpaper looks good on its own.
The molding and mirrors look good on their own.
But the two definitely don't mix together very well at all.
This is my favorite wallpaper. :) Makes me so happy to see it.

I love this look - it's something that i've been debating doing in my own home.
I also love this wallpaper. I want to use it as a backsplash in an old cabinet I'm refinishing. Wish I could find some scraps so I don't have to buy a whole roll...
I recogonize that wall paper as being from my favorite wall paper company to date!
Timoshka - you should try asking that question in the Open Thread.
jenny! - how much of it do you need? i have a roll that i think i'm going to use to line the back of a built-in desk area. maybe the leftover will be enough for your project?
what is a open thread, please @ ange_lune ?
this is really neet!
I have been looking for a stencil of a similar feather. Help!!
anh-minh - that would be incredible.. i need at the very least a few pieces that add up to 36" x 32". i could always cut & paste!
jenny! - i'll send you an email about the wallpaper at the address you used to register with AT. i hope it works out!
I really like it, too.
But does anyone out there dislike it when people, or maybe even their friends, merchandise their homes like their favorite stores?
Apartment Therapy - this is atopic I would like to see a dicussion on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know how to create this wallpaper art? If so could you help me. I don't know how to do it, what materials to buy (except for the wallpaper) and where to buy it?
Thanks!
