This clever idea for displaying jewelry was born out of an accident: Ikea Hacker reader Adora's roomate broke the glass of the frame, which was being used for its original purpose. Not wanting to spend the money to replace it or get glass cut, Adora repurposed the remaining pieces altogether.

Using scrap fabric and pushpins, Adora created a jewelry display that is conveniently segmented to hold necklaces, bracelets and earrings seperately.

This is indeed very clever!! I'd totally go for the idea.
i only wish the background was blank so that it showcased the jewlery better.
Hmmm...I have way too much jewelry for this.
Great idea, but I agree with Conadee... blank, or at least a very subtle pattern. I wasn't too sure what I was looking at, at first glance.
i'm with clampers, not nearly enough space for all my stuff. and yes, way too busy background. but it's a good idea, i could see lots of these lined up together along my closet wall. much better than the thrift store jewelry box i'm currently using, with a broken lid.
that looks tacky and unstable
