Some look at the clothes. We look at the window dressing. While we don't shop at Banana any more (we kicked our monthly addiction to the sales rack), we still love to watch their smart designers pick each season's colors. Last season they had a very cool Harlequin-like blue and orange theme (below), and now they're going with this soft, dark green for spring...

Here are the guys putting up the new backdrop last week and below are the colors from part of the display last season.

The color choices here are really really strong, and we could see taking a whole palette for one's home based on what they are doing in each of their windows.

i wonder what they with that diamond canvas!
When I worked for a store with a similar preppy aesthic, the displays were either trashed or taken home by the workers. I scored a couole of cool items that way.
That's green?
Looks like Navajo Beige to me...
Re: Orange & Dark Blue - Those have been the accent colors in my Dark Brown & White living room for the past couple years...
I just painted my living room accent wall this colour! try "guacamole" by Sico. I'm not sure if Sico is in the US, though.
Is the color off on the camera? I'm not seeing any green...
doesn't look green to me, more a muted mustard.
their theme seems to be a bit jungle/safari this season, so that's why that color.
