You've probably resorted to wrapping a last minute gift in newspaper, but what about an entire room?

Okay, it was a window display outside of a New York J.Crew, but still, we got to thinking...

Maybe we wouldn't slipcover a chair, (can you say "newspaper print" pants?) but...

the table lamp and chandelier are kind of cool.

It might be a good way to transform a tacky brass chandelier or an ugly table. Slap a little Mod Podge on there, and you're good to go!
