We were walking in the Castro this past weekend and came across two noteworthy houses. One was this house with an Obama-inspired stained glass window. We wondered if the home owner had it specially made, or if s/he made it him/herself. And will s/he keep it up after Obama's presidency ends? If nothing else, the stained glass inspires so many questions. Is this stained glass you can believe in?
And after the jump, check out the cool mural painted on the exterior of a house ...

We like it, do you?

Obama = hot.
My aunt used to do faux-stained glass with this stuff that squeezed out of a tube. She always did a great job and it looked very realistic, and then it could be peeled off later. Maybe that's how they did the Obama door?
About a year ago, this mosaic tile sign showed up on the side of a major road here in Charlottesville, Virginia. From what I can tell, it's permanent now.
