We've had Eva Zeisel's Classic Century Sauceboat for about a year and a half now. We luuuv this piece for its shape, but to be honest we haven't really found a use for it until now. (It was a wedding gift, and we don't make a lot of gravy.) A couple of days ago, we found the perfect spot for it...
It now sits on our landing strip as a key-catch. It's the perfect shape and size, and we think it will stay here. (We know...we need to declutter some of those keys. We can't even remember what a few of them unlock!)
Our landing strip is made of:
• Eva Zeisel Classic Century Sauceboat, $47.95 at Crate and Barrel
• Lack Wall Shelf, $24.99 at IKEA
• Large Osaka Box, $9.99 at CB2
• Part of the 3-Piece Dinnerware Organizer from the Container Store, $9.99
(The other 2 pieces are in our kitchen.)
