Blustery Saturday night in the Inner Richmond. An animated crowd has gathered at the newish Park Life Store on Clement Street for the opening of Michelle Blade's show of epic paintings, "I Would Give Everything."

It's warm inside, and in addition to the Blade show, there's wine, an interesting-looking crowd, music, and an art- and design-savvy array of books and offbeat homewares, some of them hand-made. A taste of Giant Robot in the avenues.
