We love Krista Ewart's philosophy and when we first read about her in Domino, we couldn't help but love how unabashedly fun (and dare we say it...girly) her bathroom was...
We normally counter pink with other hues like red or blue to counter the girly nature of the color. But here, we like that it's just all out pink and white and that it's so fun. We're obviously fans of modern sleek bathrooms, but in LA where chances are high that you'd have a 1940's or 50's era bathroom, we like the idea of just going with it (read Grace's post on skipping the remodel and embracing a retro bathroom for more on that).

when i got this issue, it inspired me to paint 15" horizontal stripes down my 26' hallway. i love it!!!
i should specify, that i painted pink and white stripes :)
i LOOOOOVE her bathroom and I'm so not a girly-girl.
the latest Pottery Barn kids has a bathroom with a circus tent ceiling just like this!
Uhhh...no. Those knobs look like nipples. Gross.
Does anyone know how to set up the tape to bring all the stripes to a point on the ceiling like that? I can't quite wrap my mind around it.
Thanks!
