Matt, ever on the lookout for the little (and big) ways that nature creeps into our city, sent us these pics yesterday of the latest flower displays at his workplace, The Met. Here's what he says: Here are a few pictures I snapped on my way in. I think it looks festive. This has become an annual tradition at the museum and really makes everything look spooky.
In other news, white pumpkins have become very popular. I think that the coolest part is the orange flesh inside. I bet they look great with candles! White pumpkins? Ghost pumpkins? Caspers? Baby Boos? Has Martha covered this yet? (Thanks, Matt!)
