Check out this crazy cool serpent house in Mexico! It's named after the mythical Quetzalcoatl snake/bird god, the Aztec god "of learning and knowledge." It was designed by Javier Senosiain. His architecture firm is called Arquitectura Organica and specializes "bioarchitecture"...
According to the firm's website: "This architectural project was located on an irregular parcel of 12.36 acres. The lot had an irregular surface due to a ravine with oak trees located all along the legnth of the property...The green areas were not to be touched. Instead it was decided to take advantage of the slopes and depressions in the terrain..."
This home was also featured on a recent episode of "World's Most Extreme Homes" on HGTV
, which will re-air the episode March 21, 2008 at 6:00pm. Check out the rest of the images of the house on Javier Senosiain's website
and his other amazing works as well! (Images and link via DVICE)
