We are always scouring the web for innovative shoe storage solutions. So when our computer screen came across this solution, we had to explore the Revolving Shoe Tree further...
When we're looking for storage solutions, we aim for three things: functionality, a good price, and great design. Filling at least two of the categories, these products rate pretty high on our list. Holding 18-24 pairs of shoes, the three tiered rack is a great value. Not only is it compact to save closet space, each tier rotates to ensure finding your shoes a breeze. The price tag comes in at under $50 big ones for both shoe trees (there's also a 4-tier version, as shown above, for even more storage) – which we'll take if it means a lasting solution to a huge problem.

I own two of these, although maybe not this exact brand. They're great -- sturdy, high-quality, and don't take up much space.
i dunno, shoes go on the ground in the closet. this would just impede space where i hang shirts and stuff.
plus it would be nice if they had cedar tips you could put on for men's shoes.
More ideas are needed for good boot and sandale storage too!
Woops, that is "sandal" and let's add flip-flops, too.
But if you use shoe trees or bags, this doesn't really help.
It may solve some storage problems, but all you would be able to see is the scuffed bottoms of your shoes? In the pictures, they only show the shoes showing from the other side of the rack. Hmmm.....
great racks for a walk in closet
my cousin has one of these in the garage. I thought it was an interesting idea on tackling the cluttered shoe problem.
for me (in NY) this would be great. I's got such a little footprint and can get so many shoes at once up off the floor. To the guys who mentioned keeping their shoes on the floor of the closet - this storage idea is for those of us whose shoes would never even begin to fit into the confines of closet floor space. I already have those lame shoes pocket thingies on the back of three doors and at least 15 boxes under the bed. I'm onto this idea because you can see them all. So they'll get worn more (theoretically).
realistically, if you have this much room on the floor of your closet for one or two of these, storage is probably not your problem. And I do not like the idea that the dirty bottoms might touch the clothes.
It's really nice looking and I'm pondering it's use in my foyer. I have a 2-tier shoe shelf there now and it has a rather sizable footprint which makes it a bit of a pain to move when I vacuum the area. This one definitely has style but wouldn't be the best option for my thong flip flops, but I'm still pondering...
Mrs. B, that's exactly what I thought too. Those pics are carefully staged so that no soles are showing. It would look a mess if the tree was full.
Also the pics don't show two pairs next to each other --- I bet because they don't fit well. The mens shoes on the left-hand pic look like they are right up against the next slot over. No space for anther pair.
Crappy product with tricky marketing!
they look really nice but they're not good for your shoes. i've had systems like this before and they have ruined some pairs of my shoes. the wires create bumps and marks on the shoes. it's very similar to hanging a sweater on a wire hanger and getting "shoulder nipples."
Does anyone else just think these are really ugly? I love my shoes, and have yet to find an attractive way to store them.
Wait on the hate..
I have one of these- the 3-tier version. its really nice for my sneaker collection.. i also have some nicer leather shoes on there.. and i have never noticed any damage to the shoes. in fact.. i have a pair of clarks that now hold thier shape after hanging on this thing.
i can fit 6 pairs of air max 95s on one level.. and those are puffy.
plus- although it's heavy.. you can move the whole thing at once if it's in the way.
I've got size 10 big 'ol puppy feet -- generally racks like this and the over-the-door solutions don't work for me. Do larger shoes fit on this tiered rack?
They definately fit- you can adjust the racks.. but they will most likely bump into eachother when you revolve the tiers.. which is kind of fun. its like the cake case at perkin's.
