Several of our favorite rooms in this year's Decorator Showcase did not shy away from the bold; from the pink and turquoise Teenage Girl Room to the massive hanging floral arrangement in the Foyer. That said, we can also appreciate the understated elegance of the rooms shown here...

Designer Matthew Leverone's Family and Breakfast rooms keep the colors to warm neutrals while creating visual interest with a mix of textures from wood to metal to plush wool. While we're usually champions of bright colors, these rooms felt like a calming palette cleanser and an area in which we'd be happy to kick back for a while.

The San Francisco Decorator Showcase is open now through May 25th, with all proceeds benefiting the financial aid program at San Francisco University High School.
