Shigeru Ban's new Furniture House No. 5 was completed this month in Sagaponack, NY. The project is one of many "starchitect" designs in Harry Coco Brown's development The Houses at Sagaponac.

We had the opportunity to check out the house at an opening hosted by Design Within Reach. The primary structure of the house is made of millwork furniture units that march through the open plan. The units provide tons of storage, support the roof, and enclose heating and cooling systems.
