So maybe we'd get a wee bit in tons of trouble if we tried this on the shingles of our rental, but Paul Paquette has made an artform of the wood cuttings in the town of Seward, Alaska.
The artist does commissions, creates panels that can be hung anywhere, or sells the patterns for a trained carpenter to install. We think this puffin is pretty cool.

I once had a potato chip shaped like Jay Leno.
Yay for puffins!
Adorable! Does anyone else harbor a daydream of installing a neat design the next time they have to replace their roof shingles?
