Here's a clever idea that combines the storage and separation of an open bookcase with the flexibility of a curtain.
Architect Rick Harlan Schneider of Inscape Studio added light to the formerly dark dining room of this Georgetown home by replacing a dividing wall with a series of see-through display cabinets. The cabinets can slide along a recessed ceiling track allowing the homeowners to open up or separate the spaces to varying degrees. The frosted glass panels add extra dimension and texture to the design.
