We spent all of last weekend hanging out on Division Street, bouncing between the Renegade Craft Fair and the Do-Division Street Fest. It was the perfect chance to finally get a taste Jerry's Sandwiches. When we walked in to pick up our take-out, we got a happy design surprise.
Jerry's has dressed up three standard chandeliers with iron shades made of spoons and ladles. The grandiose one pictured above is at least four feet across.
What impressed us even more than the fixtures themselves were the shadows the spoons cast against the walls and furniture. With shadows like these, who needs artwork?
Seeing this, after being submerged in craftiness all day, made us want to run home and introduce our own ceiling fixtures to our flatware drawer.
Has anyone tried something like this?

Hilarious. 3 years after you made this post I had the SAME EXACT experience this weekend. #latetotheparty
Left Renegade to get a bite to eat; wound up at Jerry's. Adored those chandeliers & forgot to snap a picture. Googling landed me here. I guess you never found anyone who did something like this, or where Jerry's got theirs? That chandelier is the missing piece to my kitchen.
