All the overhead lighting in my apartment is either recessed or attached to an ugly fan, but I really wish I had a ceiling medallion or two — or just a place to use this stencil.
To me, ceiling medallions are one of the best, classiest things about older buildings, and they look great with traditional or more modern décor. To get the look with this stencil, you would need a ladder and an afternoon, but it's not a bad alternative to buying and installing an actual medallion.
Cutting Edge Stencils' ceiling medallion pattern costs $54.95. The husband and wife company sells a range of styles, and they also have a helpful guide to stenciling.

That's kind of nice.
Wow, thanks! I have a missing medallion, and I'm not keen on getting a new latex reproduction -- unless I paint them a dozen times, they won't look like the originals. :) This is a much better alternative.
I like this idea! It could be really striking!
Nice, but am too lazy to do this.
Oh, boy! That's beautiful.
How beautiful! :)
You know, for 2/3 the cost and half the effort, you could get a plastic medallion and paint it however you wanted. Your Local Big Orange (or Blue) Box Home Improvement Store should have them. 0:)
Very beautiful stencils, but just as well, it doesn't have to be a medallion, a soft pattern on a ceiling ads a very nice touch. At Universal, you can pick any pattern or bring your own to have it printed on either a wall or a ceiling. Today technology offers so many ways to make your home beautiful, it is almost unbelievable!
It's look great. I ordered something like that at Plafond Group company. Their stretch ceilings have a perfect quality. Theyoffer free measurements in new york , brooklyn. I think in other 3 states same as they offering their services there. So great people and great stretch ceiling installation.
