We've been seeing painted stripes for a little while now, but none that we loved as much as this welcoming pairing of mocha and cafe au lait (?).
We just love that the stripes aren't in your face announcing their stripiness. They subtly warm up the corner of the living room. Also notice that there are bolder stripes on the chair cushions and in the rug, plus the hanging drape adds vertical stripes--all of this adds a layer of warmtha nd texture to the room so that the white chairs and table don't look stark or cold.
Good job mlluzeira!

(imho) seems a little "luxury hotel"... resulting in a "nice place to visit, but wouldn't want to live there" vibe for me...
Totally disagree. The treatment provides warmth and a nice design element that doesn't compete with the furnishings. Nicely executed.
To me it looks a bit like wood paneling, which I happen to love despite its bad "outdated" rep. So, bravo.
Adding art to the walls might make the overall effect more luxurious, or at least make the room feel more personal.
I think it's pretty. Adding simple but eye appealing interest to a wall. I'd like to see how it would look in vertical segments instead of the whole wall. Does that make sense?
I think its pretty too. I also love the chairs , can anybody tell me where i can find those?
very soothing..
The chairs are gorgeous. I believe they are from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
