Because the color is so vibrant. The teal was a nice choice to compliment the bright orange of the store (a color combo we've professed our love for before). Sure the two shades probably wouldn't work well together in such high doses in a home, but we liked the look, nonetheless. And on their own the stools could make quite an impression in a kitchen.
