We're guessing if you feel like you're working in paradise, work somehow becomes paradise. We can't really attest if that's really true ourselves (our walls are a nice dark cream color that reminds us more of a bar of chocolate than a tropical vacationing environment), but with a serene lighting scheme and real bamboo walls harvested from his own backyard, Omar E. Hamid truly emulates a soothing workspace that balances high brow modernism and nature.
We notice he has his speakers cleverly embracing the natural discord by being placed in a couple of IKEA bamboo bowls. Not a great idea of you're going for good acoustics, but hey - whatever floats your boat. Or raft, in his case.
Additionally, his subwoofer is placed behind his laptop - again, not the most optimal placement seeing that most subwoofers these days still don't come magnetically shielded. However, we really do enjoy his under-the-table lighting scheme that makes the desk seem to glow with vibrancy and liveliness.
