While on our way to visit a friend's new apartment in the Mission, we walked by three buildings with tiled walls that caught our attention.

First, we took notice of the tiled walls of the 26th and Guerrero Market. The arrangement of these colorful tiles resembles a patchwork quilt -- it has a really stunning effect.

Next, we were intrigued by this apartment building's entrance with this interesting tile work. The tile was created to look like it has seashells and stones embedded in it.

Lastly, we spotted this geometric tile, also in an apartment building entrance, found a couple doors down from the seashell tile apartment. Sadly, the photos -- which make this tile appear more appropriate for a bathroom -- don't really do this tile work justice. But trust us when we say that it looked cooler in person.
