While trying to figure out what to do with an extremely shallow DC fireplace, we came across these charming (and compact) cast iron stoves...

Andrew Moore of Navigator Stove Works acquired the rights to produce a select number of the Lunenburg Foundry's traditional cast iron marine stoves. As their name suggests, marine stoves were originally designed for boats, but these adorable (sorry, we can't help ourselves) little stoves are finding a new purpose in small spaces on land - 300 square feet or less - where a larger, conventional wood burning stove would just be too big. This may be the perfect solution for people who didn't think they had enough space.

Available in colored porcelain enamel as well as traditional cast iron, these ruggedly beautiful stoves add a unique design element to any room

It's no secret that wood burning heat is an environmentally responsible alternative if you can get a good supply of well-managed wood locally. And of course, you simply can't beat the allure and ambiance of a wood burning stove.

yes, these are ardorable and could be a great option for a backyard shed / studio conversion.
Modernshed style.
Ok, I want one of these soooo bad. I grew up close to Lunenberg, and they are so cute
Tres adorable! Too bad the price jumps so much when you want it in white or red.
I love small woodstoves. I grew up with a green porcelain Jotul (602), and my father personally cut the trees we used to heat the house through Pennsylvania Winters. My parents still use it to this day. I find myself nostalgic... I've always wanted a woodstove for my home... for when the power goes out or when I want to curl up with that intense heat and read for hours. These little beauties might be a great fit for those in very small spaces... you won't get cooked to death!
great alternate brands to look for:
Jotul Traditional Scandinavian (and small) Wood/pellet/coal stoves
Max Blank Stoves for ultra modern, sleek pieces
Good Time Stove for historic reproductions
Thought I would share the love.
