Can't make up your mind on what shade you should paint the walls? You could take a cue from Marcel Prins, an interior designer from the Netherlands. For the Berrington House in Munich, he painted all the walls in metallic paint in blocks of different hues of green, bronze, and gold. It sort of reminds us of a Pantone book. More photos after the jump!

This looks amazing!
back when we had a house, and not a teeny tiny apt- I painted the master bed in a Ralph Lauren metallic that I tinted moss green...it was so beautiful and made the room feel so light in the daytime...in the evening it was glimmery and romantic!!- esp in a small space it can make the walls seem weightless and translucent!!
I like that he kept the borders of white that help define the actual rooms...esp in a lrge space it keeps the walls from 'floating away'( the borders maybe wouldn't be as successful in a small space?)
I looooooove this. Love love love. Want, covet.
I do not love the art placed on the floor, but the panels of shimmery paint are fantastic.
Gorgeous!
I want that paint in my house.
Ditto for the art and the paint love...
This is amazing!
The brilliant colors disguise the fact that these are simply blocks of color on the walls - not mouldings like I first thought...
...I want a golden bedroom now.
:-)
loveee metallic walls
I love this also. I know I am setting myself up for a big "duh" but what makes metallic paint....metallic? Have we discussed it on here before?
wow - stunning!! and you're right - it is a bit like living in a pantone book! but done so well, and in gorgeous shades.
Wow, really nice!
When I moved into my tiny place I could not make up my mind about color.
because I live in LA and have massive sun exposure in every direction, I went for varying shades of green.
I have a one room studio and in the main room I managed to come up with five shades of green , which gives more dimension.
I love the colors you chose for the dining area and how all peeks into the other rooms offset .
Nice.
I normally don't really like gold, but that bedroom is making me seriously reconsider.
I love these colours! The white was an excellent choice to break up the blocks, it could have easily been way too overpowering otherwise.
How original and beautiful! These walls look like they're pretty smooth. I am not sure mine would be able to handle that. But it is fantastic.
Wow! I love this idea and all of the colors compliment one another. This is so awesome...I may have to consider this for my downstairs.
metallic or not, the color choices and the block effect rocks.
Love!
This is so gorgeous!
