As we transition from Escapes to Adornment Month, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge how refreshing an escape can be and how often I've found the coolest thing ever while away and looking around a city, village or landscape with fresh eyes. This print of Mt. Hood in Oregon was a find last winter when I was visiting family in Coos Bay. I found it in this great thrift store called, Beauty and the Beast and I keep it above my desk to remind me of how beautiful Oregon is, how fun it was crawling through that thrift store, and how much I love visiting family.
So as we start on adornment month and looking at all the choices we have for what to hang up, paint, arrange and display we want to know: what treasures have you unearthed while on vacation? What have you brought back with you to remind you of somewhere else? Is it a paint color? A jewelry box? A painting?
