When you organize and display your collections in groupings of like-objects, or similar colors, you're less likely to have that cluttered, knick-knack look all around your house.
Instead your beloved objects will appear right at home with one another, and easy on the eye. Combining similar hues creates a display that looks a bit more sophisticated, well planned out, with attention to detail and design.

Lovely image... a fantastic grouping!
this is Victoria's place which I've been in love with since first sight!
Those colors are amazing together! Which came first, the painting or the grouping? Were you inspired by the painting, or was it a perfect find or possession you already had tht just fit right in?

thanks everyone.
becky - the pottery came first and i've always kind of keep a collection of pottery in greens and aqua's. then i just found the painting of the woman recling (from a pile of student art canvases i found in a box at a consignment store). when i moved i just decided this nook was a good place to display my collection and the self-portrait painting of my friend tom just seemed to be perfect for the mix.
