For the eco-friendly dog owner we ran across these vintage wine box dog bowl feeders at Muttropolis. Let's take a closer look.
We love the fact that these dog bowl feeders are recycled from old wine boxes. Since they're not the usual ceramic dog bowls we're used to, we bet they'd blend in quite well in a kitchen or mud room. The bowls are also elevated for healthier eating and drinking habits. At Muttropolis, where we found them online, boasts that no two Whiner and Diner Double Feeders are alike. I really like this - simple, attractive, and most importantly, good for your dog. My first thought was "DIY!", so I was happy to see the Design Sponge link.

Good Idea to set the food bowls higher---much better for the pets eating and health. I use old bricks now for my cats bowls and she seem to really like it. I will be on the lookout now for a wood box of sorts to do this for her.
Cute idea, but a bit pricey. Could probably done much cheaper.
Where would one get a wine box, other than to purchase a substantial amount of wine?
I'm going to do something like this, but maybe with an apple crate or something. No way will I pay $200.00 for a crate, though.

I have to say that Whiner and Diner definitely makes an exceptional wine crate feeder amongst other wine crate pieces.
