Okay, most of us don't have wetbars in our rental apartments but odds are you have some strange or wonky space that you could be utilizing better. (In our 1st floor apartment it's a 4x4 windowed air shaft, but that's another story...) So we were inspired by Rachel's transformation of an incongruous wet bar into an organized closet for her baby.

She recently moved out of this apartment and had to reassemble the wet bar which, as renters, is always a consideration when undertaking making changes and improvements to your place. With a few simple changes to make the shelves sturdier, cover the sink and add organization (using short shoe organizers as general storage is especially clever) Rachel made a cute, functional baby closet that served her needs much better than a wet bar.

You can read more about her project at Small Notebook for a Simple Home where she shares her experience and ideas for simplifying your life and home.
