Here's another post from Ana about some white vases she found while thrifting around Austin; she's found an online source so even if you don't live in Austin, you can enjoy 'em too. Tell us what you think in the comments.

A local vintage store had a beautiful matte porcelain vase with an intricate relief of exotic flowers. The marking on the bottom said AK Kaiser. A little Internet research turned up more information on the maker, Kaiser Porzellen, an old German company that makes figurines and dinnerware as well as vases.

The styles that I was drawn to were created by Manfred Frey in the 1960s and '70s and inspired by nature. Other designs have a more abstract, modern feel, but they'd all look equally lovely on display against a brightly painted wall or holding a bunch of flowers on a table.

An eBay search turned up a slew of them with starting bids under $10. Now I just have to find the perfect one...
