
Straws are no longer just for sipping. We spotted this window display at the Anthropologie in Palo Alto and had to take a closer look. With just a needle, some string, and lots and lots of straws, this could easily be recreated at home.

Patience is a requirement to pull off this look. But perhaps it would be nice to string together something other than popcorn and cranberries this year.

Unless you have that many straws on hand, it seems like a pretty big waste of plastic. At least popcorn and cranberries are biodegradable or reusable as deer food...
sshoys - You can actually buy biodegradable straws made from corn.
I saw this in the Anthropologie in Manhattan and wished I had my camera with me. It looks so cool. I wanted to post it on AT. Glad someone did.
There is an Anthropologie next to where I work, I ALWAY marvel at there window dressing. Some of it really inspires me.
