For those of us in a certain age group "1976" stands out at the year that EVERYTHING in American design was red, white and blue.
I personally had a red white and blue bell bottom light denim jumpsuit, a red white and blue American flag beach towel, and my grandmother (the one with the eccentric design flair) had a Georgian wing chair upholstered in, you guessed it. A house in my neighborhood even painted their house white, with red and blue trim and a giant painted banner on the side that said SPIRIT OF '76 on it.
however, the red white and blue on this post are way better.
If only people were just as interested in the Bill of Rights.
