We're kind of surprised we don't run across more teak furniture for kids. It seems like a natural fit. Teak is rugged, long-lasting, beautiful AND suitable for outdoor use. Case in point: this trio of gorgeous heirloom-quality chairs we recently spotted.
The loopfietsje, pictured at the top of this post, is a booster seat designed for use from six months through to adulthood. Similar to the Stokke Kinderzeat in form, the loopfietsje is made of teak and aluminum, perfect for outdoor use.
The loopfiets is a highchair with twelve adjustable positions for the seat and footrest. That, combined with the fact that the tray is also adjustable and removable, makes this a great piece to grow with your baby into preschoolerhood.
The loopfietsen is a low-to-the-ground rocker intended for indoor/outdoor lounging. We can also imagine it as a great napping chair.
Our only problem with these great designs (other than the fact that we can't pronounce their names) is that we can't seem to find them outside the Netherlands. Any sourcing tips from our readers? (If we start hunting now, we could manage to have them by the time warm weather returns!)
