I'm alarmed by that high-up window in a child's room with no bars or protective covering on it. When I lived in Manhattan I heard several heartbreaking stories about babies who found their way out of windows like this.

pxlchk1, that was the first thing I thought of too--don't open that window; it needs window bars! But I bet it is indeed for the photograph, which certainly looks cleaner and nicer without them, and not for real life with a toddler.

Yeah, yeah. I know...It just gave me that queasy stomach thing. -Like in the movies when they show a toddler walk right next to a swimming pool unattended.

What about storing toys in the dryer? Now, that's alarming! Do you know how many kids get trapped in a dryer each year?! ;)

Let's remember this was all styled for a photo shoot (and I happen to think the photos are fantastic).

I think the story about babies in manhattan falling out of windows is dramatic to post in response to this, and that's taken as questioning someone's parenting?

I think there is a gate window law in NYC for kids. They maybe ugly, but they work, the harsh reality is kids do mange to crawl out windows
