On Friday, the Louvre opens one of its most ambitious renovations to date: the redesigned 18th century Decorative Arts galleries. The $33 million project houses 2,200 pieces spanning 23,000 square feet. The collection is housed in traditional galleries, as well as recreations of full interiors.
