People who love beer often keep the bottle caps as a memento of the unique beers they've tried. But the problem is, unlike corks for wine people, there aren't great ways to use or display them. Yes, you can make fridge magnets, but beyond that I haven't seen anything worth the effort... until I saw this backsplash.
I love this idea, especially if you have a wet bar in your home (or for your kitchen if you're a true beer lover). Just adhere the caps like you would tiles and then grout and seal. The other plus is that you don't have to cut any tile which is often the most difficult part of a tile job.

Oh, my goodness...I love this SO MUCH!!!
i adore this... so great
I have been saving my beer caps well for too long, I wanted to do a counter top or a bar height table, with glass over it I saw it in a restaurant once, I like the backsplash but would be upset when I would have to move :(
Love this. At our house, we use bottle caps as ground cover for our potted plants. I've also got a beaded curtain that my friend made me years ago by bending bottle caps around lengths of twine: http://i.imgur.com/eBkv9.jpg. It looks a little college dorm-y when placed inside, but it makes for a great art piece outdoors.
What an excellent idea!!!
I've also seen people make table tops with bottles caps by covering them in resin. It takes quite a bit of resin and a long time to set completely but looks awesome, has a nice smooth flat surface, and is a functional piece of furniture afterward.
