Not everyone has a pool in their backyard or the room for a full-blown chaise, but we all still want to be able to sit outside and enjoy the summer sun, right? Luckily, there's a plethora of super chic and adorable lounge and club chairs meant just for the outdoors that will have you sitting pretty without sacrificing space. Here are a few of my favorites—pair them on your apartment balcony, set them out on your porch, gather them around a fire pit, and if you do happen to have a pool, go ahead and pull up a chair and soak up some rays (with some SPF, of course). Outdoor living never looked so good.
This modern stackable chair comes in a set of two and is just the kind of chair I imagine on that balcony as two people enjoy each other's company and conversation. I'd put a drinks table in between them and add cushions for additional comfort.
I'm a true believer that every space should have at least a touch of something organic. Made of natural woven rattan and a bent rattan frame, this chair fits the bill. Plus, it folds closed and features built-in handles, so you can easily bring it back and forth between home and the beach.
Anthropologie's take on the classic chevron pattern is perfect for the outdoors because of its polyester rattan makeup and the fact that it's sealed with clear lacquer and can therefore be easily cleaned and maintained and protected against moisture. The fun color combos of teal and white or black and white only help their case.

Though it's made of eucalyptus wood, this weather-resistant patio club chair reminds me of a quintessential outdoor teak lounge, only this one has a updated twist with its wrapped arms. This is a chair I imagine myself sitting in on my imaginary deck watching imaginary yachts go by.
One of the best aspects of the West Elm brand is their commitment to artisans, which can be seen in this colorblocked lounge chair handwoven by artists in Indonesia. The taupe, white and black color combo keep it neutral and the pop of mint makes it fun. West Elm has a way of making me say "I obviously need that" no matter what the piece is, and this chair is no exception.
If you're looking for a natural chair with a little more staying power (in the sense that it will literally stay put and isn't necessarily portable like the folding Palisades lounge), this island-inspired wing chair has your name on it. It also comes in blue, red or white if you're in the mood for a little more pizzazz.
If bright turquoise or punchy golds aren't for you, but you still like the idea of adding a splash of color to your outdoor area, these apricot Leon chairs from The Citizenry might just do the trick. These are a limited-edition release, available now for pre-order shipping June 15. A little more on the chairs from The Citizenry: "Crafted from powder-coated steel, these chairs are built for the outdoors. Each one comes with a handwoven cushion crafted by a fair trade cooperative in Peru. Handcrafted in Mexico City, this chair takes almost two days to complete. Designed by a talented duo, Oscar Mora and Pauline Dornic, it is named for the place where these two met."
Metallic furniture is not something I'd be quick to assume goes outdoors, but thanks to the iron frame and protective clear topcoat of this gilded lounge chair, anyone can bring their brass fixations out into the light of day.

The quatrefoil motif of this chair would have you thinking it's a traditional design meant for your living room, but with that striking fuchsia finish, it's far more contemporary and begs to be outside where bright colors tend to thrive.
Pardon me while I go swoon over these beautiful brassy Peacock lounges that give 1970s wicker a run for its money with pretty, peachy pink wire. The purple and gold cushions give the chair bonus points in my eyes, but Bend offers more neutral options, too.
Australian outdoor furniture company Harbour has been making incredibly high-quality, super stylish pieces since 1976. Get a little taste of the island-continent with this lounge Loop chair, which is side enough to curl up in and catch up on your summer reading lists.
