Recently we found Debra's List, a clearinghouse of environmentally friendly products and resources.
Debra's List has hundreds of free links to nontoxic, natural, and earthwise products. In just a few minutes browsing Debra's List, we learned about natural cleaning products; read about the Java-Log, a fire log made of recycled coffee grounds; and found a list of Green Building Resources. We have a feeling we're going to be visiting the website often. It makes more sense to use Debra's List to find green products than to spend a lot of time looking for the same information on search engines, only to then encounter outdated links and incorrect information. Debra Lynn Dadd is the author of Home Sweet Home: Creating a Healthy Home Environment by Reducing Exposure to Toxic Household Products. She's used what she learned during more than 20 years as a health and environmental consumer advocate, to create Debra's List. According to the website, "The purpose of Debra's List is to organize, make accessible, and make known the wide variety of products and services that are currently available with life-sustaining health and environmental benefits... and to inspire you to use them in your everyday life."
