9-14-alyssa1.jpgWe originally blogged Alyssa Ettinger Pottery here when we fell in love with her simple, beautiful handmade bowls.

Recently Alyssa told us about her newest collection: Knitware coasters. We're such suckers for things like this because they're not only practical, they're lovely. And on a cold and overcast day like today, there's something about the knitware patterns that seems especially appealing, so warm and textural.

9-14-alyssa2.jpgThe coasters have cork backing and come in four patterns (small knit, large knit, small cable, large cable) and four colors (celery, vanilla, slate, unglazed). Since they're hand-thrown, they're unique (and, dare we say it, would make great gifts for that holiday we shall not name, but that doesn't seem so very far away anymore).

They're sold in a set of 4 for $39.

Available directly from Alyssa, here.
