Our friends moved recently, and when they unpacked, they found 19 candleholders. They were a little embarrassed... All they really needed was the Zag Tealight Holder.
Twelve aluminum cylinders are connected to each other, and hold tealight candles. You could use them on a mantle or a console table, or in the middle of your dining table. Use them alone or arrange two or three on a really long table.
Regularly $48, on sale for $38 at Chiasso.
(Ikea sells a similar Ikea PS Tealight Holder for $6.99, but the white porcelain finish isn't quite as stylish as the shiny metal Zag.)

Erm...if I went through all the cupboards and counted the ones around the apartment, I'd probably have around 40 candleholders! Is that bad? I don't display them all at once, though! Most of them only come out when I'm entertaining...or for the winter holidays...
Dorianne, I'm with you.
I was thinking, "19? Lightweight!"
:)
But then again, I think I single-handedly kept Illuminations in business for several seasons.
LOL, P2! I admit to having a lot of tealight holders...otherwise I probably couldn't afford my candle habit! :)
Nineteen candle holders? I'm there. And I'm not even that into candles. It's just that both tapers and votives benefit from being in groups. And switching the candle holders is such a painless way to change seasonal feel.
Glass or ceramic votive holders can also make excellent small vases.
Yes! wende, you are right, candles DO look better in groups! Part of the reason for my huge collection of candle holders is that I've now bought two sets of a dozen votive holders (one coloured glass set, one clear glass set), simply because they look so fabulous massed on top of my shelving system! :)
