Names: Lucia (10 months)
Location: Angkor Wat, in Siem Reap, Cambodia
Favorite Family-Friendly Place To See or Thing To Do Here: We visited the Temples of Angkor during the morning with Lucia in the baby backpack, then retreated to the hotel for a nap and a swim during the afternoon. Lucia was most intriqued by the Night Market in Siem Reap, and loved the attention she received from the locals, who were just enamoured by a Western baby. She ate it up.

Best Tip for Traveling with Kids: Follow their lead. Take things slow. Know that you aren't going to be able to travel and see what you were able to see pre-baby. Try to make the most of your time pre-nap, and then relax and take things easy in the afternoon after the nap.

Favorite Way to Make it Feel Like Home: We brought her favorite toys with us. That meant carrying an extra bag on the plane and throughout Cambodia, but it was worth its weight in gold. Whenever she would get cranky, we would pull out a toy, hook it to the backpack, and that would make her very happy!

An Item you MUST Take With You While Traveling:Baby Backpack. Lucia loved being in the backpack, and enjoyed her view of Cambodia from high up on dad's back.

Thanks Lisa!
