Instead of just a washroom with a lavatory, First Class passengers flying on Lufthansas's new Airbus A380 will find a luxurious bathroom with wash and changing areas, well equipped with various bath amenities and far larger than my bathroom at home. See what else will greet high flying high rollers, after the jump.
Instead of just a washroom with a lavatory, First Class passengers will find a luxurious bathroom with wash and changing areas separated from the lavatory area, with plenty of space to move around in. The rest of the cabin isn't so bad either with spacious seats, "large" screen entertainment units, and luxurious furnishings.
Lufthansa claims the new A380 sets new standards in travel comfort, technology and environmental efficiency. With over 526 seats, only 8 are first class and 98 business class. Just a few of the amenities reserved for business and first class passengers include:
- An intuitively operable master control unit allows passengers to adjust the seat to any position and will dispense a soothing massage at the push of a button.
- Seats feature a headrest with six different settings.
- An adjustable reading lamp
- Stowage compartments for shoes, newspapers and personal items
- Close hooks
- Extending foot rests
