Who knew that we'd ever be saying that a light up ANYTHING (other than a lamp that is) was actually nice looking?
Call us surprised, but have to say that the new clear resin shallow, circular sink (larger photos below) from Toto that we saw at KBIS this past weekend was really pretty amazing looking — in both it's illuminated and regular states.
Coming this May from Toto to very snazzy bathrooms near you!

I prefer the old porcelain sinks..and why does a sink need a light anyways? seems like this design goes better with the heloc bubble era...too much excess!
Well, THAT is a fanTASTIC use of resources.
Unfortunately, this reminds me of the sink you spit into at the Dentist. A lot.
They showed the Luminist last year at KBIS, too. Liked and wrote about it for KBB and my own Gold Notes blog. What I really, really loved from Toto is the Waza Noir lav. It's beautiful to look at -- and like velvet to the touch. Wish there were coordinating fixtures for it!
