Amy Helfand is an artist (and a Chicago-girl now living in Brooklyn) who translates some of her work into Tibetan wool and Chinese silk rugs. She debuted a few new pieces, including the one above, Mt. Rogers Protest, at ICFF. Drawn to Amy's booth by the strong, confident show of color, we found her rug designs to be a mix of luxury materials, quality work and a truly unique sense of pattern design.

Another Mt. Rogers Protest piece - this one is a print. Wild Garden Runner
At Amy's site, you can see both the rugs and her prints.
