Since it’s travel month here at Re-nest it would be remiss not to mention one of the most stunning places I have ever visited: The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada.
For years my friends and family had raved about this beautiful gem nestled in the majestic Canadian Rockies. When I finally made the trip I was absolutely awe-struck by the beauty of both the building and its surroundings. A crystalline lake situated at the base of towering, snow-capped mountains forms a most enchanting backdrop for the grand Chateau. The hotel’s beginnings date bate to 1890, though the formidable structure as we know it today was constructed in 1911, and retains much of its century old charm. Everything from the opulent interior, to the incredible vistas to the tree lined trails make Lake Louise a must see marvel.
