At first glance you may be thinking; "Since when is staying in a log cabin considered luxury?" Well check out this small and exclusive resort in the Colorado Rockies. I think if I could spend a few nights here, I would feel like I was in heaven. It sure would be a get-away from New York City!
Dunton Hot Springs is a ghost town restored and transformed into a dream vacation destination. There are 12 different cabins to choose from and each offers simple and rustic decor plus other unique features whether it be an outdoor shower, a tee-pee or a private hot spring with a cold plunge tub. At least one even has a full kitchen. Other resort amenities include a spa, yoga and pilates classes, a bath house and chef prepared meals using local ingredients. Open year round, activities range from hiking to snowshoeing and even Heli-skiing! Wish I was packing my bags today!

Right now this place is probably covered with lots of snow, as is my yard. My idea of a luxury vacation includes sand and sun. But next summer, this place would be wonderful.
"...a ghost town restored and transformed..."
That is so cool! I want to be at the third-to-last image...sigh...
epic
Luxury indeed! $650 a night, it better be the best vacation ever :) Thats more than my mortgage.
So cozy and romantic...
That is the most beautiful spot I've ever seen!
I wish I was there right now. :(
$650 was one of the "cheap" ones. I clicked on a couple of the other cabins, and they were $1500/night!
Too fabulous for words.
Whoever dreamed this up is a genius. It looks incredibly peaceful.
