Luxury Tenants Spend Big Bucks Renovating Their Rentals

With competitive rental markets and low vacancies the reality in some major cities, some luxury renters are making the most of their current spaces... by renovating their apartments. Though most of that work will be left behind when the lease is up, tenants are refinishing floors, renovating kitchens and baths, even changing layouts, sometimes spending upwards of $1 million to upgrade their space.
