What I Love About My Small Home:
I love all the color and artwork I have in my apartment. Living in a small space can feel confining, so it was important to me to make my apartment colorful and a true reflection of me and my personality. My favorite piece of artwork is likely the original 'War is Over if you want' poster that I got backstage from a Yoko Ono concert. And my record collection is also an obvious favorite - most of the vinyls are from my parents collection. I also love sleeping in my loft. My friends often compare it to a fort or a tree house, but it's really cozy.
Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space:
When you live in a studio apartment, it can feel like everything takes place in one box - you're eating, cooking, working, sleeping and lounging in one small room. It was important for me to separate the space as much as possible without making it seem closed-off and cramped. Adding a kitchen cart helped separate the kitchen from the living room area.
